Certifications and recognitions

The stages of long-term commitment

The certifications by an independent body guarantee are guarantee of the company's compliance with the shared international standards and the legal obligations, and that it is equipped with an organisational system adequate to achieve these objectives.

In addition, the voluntary controls, spontaneous compliance with development programs, the awards and recognitions given by third parties are indications of the company's constant commitment and long-term quality policy.

ISO 9001

These standards and guidelines formulated by the International Organization for Standardization are designed to manage the quality of the company processes and to direct the organisation towards more efficient and better customer satisfaction.

It deals with a global approach that includes every sector and company process. Since 2000, the year when the new regulation was released, our total dedication in providing the best customer service has translated into obtaining and subsequently maintaining the UNI EN ISO 9001 quality certification.

The compliance of MPA's products and services to the quality standards is verified and confirmed year after year by the International Certification Body, subsequent to a strict series of inspections and controls.

 ISO 14001

The ISO 14000 standards are a voluntary tool for defining, implementing, monitoring and improving a company's environmental protection policy.

In particular, 14001 is an international standard that establishes the requirements for an organisation's environmental management system.

La UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental certification, obtained in 2006, is an important step for IMPA in its path towards continual improvement and the progressive reduction of the environmental impact of its products and processes.

Premio Product Stewardship 2007 - Responsible Care

Responsible Care is a global voluntary program set up by the Chemical Industry, promoted in Italy by Federchimica, based on the implementation of principles and behaviours aimed at protecting the environment and ensuring the safety and security of employees.

IMPA has been committed to the Responsible Care Program since its introduction in Italy in 1992, translating these guidelines into concrete actions in the production processes and in the research of new products.

In 2007 this commitment was recognised with an official award, the Product Stewardship Award, given to IMPA for its policy to develop water-based paints, in particular for the HT Innovation line.
