The CE marking is a Certificate of Conformity with which the manufacturer certifies and guarantees that its product on the market , is designed and manufactured in compliance with the requirements of the European Normative 89/106/CEE, Construction Products Directive ( CDP ) and that is why the CE marking , and the related information , must be affixed to the product or to its packaging .
IMPA is also compliant with the labeling of its products and therefore the thickness coatings will be recognizable through the conformity label, which in addition to the CE marking , shows the performance values required by the normative
The CPD Normative requires that manufactures of building materials in order to market their products in Europe , must affix the CE marking as it certifies that the product complies with the requirements of the normative. Or rather they are built or set up so that the building work , of which they are permantly incorporated , meets some essential requirements for the safety, health and for other important aspects of national importance.
Starting from 01.04.2011 , with the EN 15824:2009 Normative “Specification for external and internal plasters – organic binders based ”, it has become COMPULSORY to affix the CE marking on the thickness coatings, applied indoor and outdoor with a recommended thickness , in the technical data sheet , over than 400 dry microns .
Products, defined as “ painting “ or “ primer ” are not included in the above -mentioned normative. If the products are free of the CE marking , the penalty against producers, importers and /or dearlers and installers may be the withdrawal of the products from the market and the prohibition of use .
